Linearity

During my time at Linearity, I worked across different teams and roles, which shaped my evolution as a designer.
Through product, marketing, and education focused work, I developed a strong interest in designing how people learn creative tools. My work sits at the intersection of visual systems, motion, and clear educational storytelling.

My 4 Years at Linearity, in a Nutshell

Over the course of 4 years at Linearity, my role evolved from UX/UI design to marketing design, and ultimately to leading the education team and video production. Along the way, I learned new skills and honed existing ones. In my final year, I independently created a mid level step by step design course, designing both the flow and visuals for each episode. During this process, I gained full production experience, including lighting, sound, and camera work, and also became comfortable as the course narrator on camera. Simultaneously, I continued to support the social media team with campaign assets.

Rebranding & Introduction to Motion Design

During my last two years at Linearity, I also supported the product team during the company’s rebranding. As Vectornator transitioned into Linearity Curve, I adapted existing designs to the new brand system while maintaining consistency across educational and marketing content. Around the same time, Linearity Move was launched as a new animation focused product. To effectively create tutorials for Move, I began learning motion design principles and 2D animation. This marked the beginning of my journey into motion design, which became an essential tool for explaining features and workflows through clear visual storytelling.

Getting out of my comfort zone and learning all these new skills wasn’t easy. Before creating a mid-level course on my own, I had the chance to ease into the process with an incredible team. Together, we created the Vectornator 101 beginner course, where I learned all the essential production skills hands on from planning and recording to working closely with video and education specialists.

While the process was genuinely fun and collaborative, it also came with its fair share of challenges and frustrating moments. Thanks to my colleagues, those moments were handled with care, humor, and creativity, turning the experience into something both educational and memorable.

Below are a few behind the scenes bloopers from the making of our first beginner course.

Growing Through Collaboration

Social Media & Campaign Assets

Over four years at Linearity, I designed social media assets across multiple platforms. Initially as a primary responsibility and later as continued support for the marketing design team, contributing to campaign consistency and brand alignment.
